  • What all roles are supported by kolligate?
    As of now, we support all roles of the dental industry. You can work as temp professionals for the roles: Dental Assistant, Associate Dentist, Hygienist, Front Office, Specialist. We also have an option for Externs/Volunteers to get experience.
  • What do I need to create an account on kolligate? Are the requirements to sign up on kolligate? Do I need to have an active license to work as a temp professional on kolligate?
    Signing up on kolligate is free. To sign up on kolligate for the roles Dental Assistant, Associate Dentist, Hygienist and Specialist you are required to have an active license for your respective state. We wish for every user on the platform to have a positive experience, hence, we validate all users on the platform. Kolligate recommends that you complete your profile with all details which increases your chances of showing up as a suitable match to Job Posters and receive offers from them.
  • What does kolligate do with the information collected in my profile?

  • Can I create a Kolligate account as an extern and volunteer?
    Yes, kolligate has an option for externs and volunteers to create an account and gain experience. Signing up on kolligate is free and the process is quick and easy..
  • How do I find a shift?
    Login to your profile and just click the "Grab a Shift" button from the navbar. You will be able to see all posted shifts in the marketplace matching your profile. You can Express Interest to the shift that suits you and start engaging with the Job Poster. The whole process is simple and easy. Kolligate recommends that you complete your profile with all details which increases your chances of showing up as a suitable match to Job Posters and receive offers from them.
  • When I can I communicate directly with Job Posters?
    Once a mutual acceptance has been reached with a Job Poster for a shift, the details of the Dental Office will be made available and can be found on the Closed Shift Card in Shift Activity or Calendar.
  • Is there a limit to the number of shifts I can apply on a given day?
    We value the time of all our users and want to be fair to both parties to maintain the consistency and transparency. You can "Express Interest" to two shifts for a given day. However, you can receive Offers from multiple Job posters at the same time. For example, you can Express Interest only to two shifts on Tuesday and two shifts on Wednesday, at a given time. If things do not work out for one shift, you can Express Interest to another posted shift. But you can receive offers for as many shifts on both days.
  • How do I set my availability in the marketplace?
    Kolligate allows you to set your availability in multiple ways to give you flexibility to work whenever you want to. From your profile you can set your preferred ‘Standard Availability’ which can be managed based on your long-term schedule. There is also an option to set your availability in the short term, like, for an upcoming week, for which you can use ‘Manage Availability’ from the Calendar. To set your availability in the very short term, for up to 48 hours, you can use 'Quick Availability’ by simply toggling a switch on the Discover screen. If you are set as "Available" in the marketplace, Job Posters will be able to view your profile for a shift which matches your role. They can then wish to "Make an Offer" to you. Join the platform to experience it.
  • How will a Job Poster find me?
    When you set yourself as "Available" in the marketplace, Job Posters will be able to view your profile for a shift which matches your role. They can then wish to "Make an Offer" to you. Kolligate recommends that you complete your profile with all details which increases your chances of showing up as a suitable match to Job Posters and receive offers from them.
  • How can I receive an offer from a Job Poster?
    Job Posters can Make an Offer to Job Seekers who are set as available in the marketplace for that day matching the shift criteria. Both parties can negotiate to reach a mutual agreement. Kolligate recommends that you complete your profile with all details which increases your chances of showing up as a suitable match to Job Posters and receive offers from them. .
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    We value the time of all professionals. We encourage users not to cancel shifts once a mutual agreement has been reached. Please avoid last minute cancellations and no-shows because it adds financial implications and puts lots of stress on the Job Poster. Avoiding no-shows and last-minute cancellations can earn you rewards. However, we understand that things do happen, but as soon as you know that you cannot work for the shift, please cancel in time so that the Job Poster has time to make arrangements. Please ensure your availability is updated at all times to avoid any inconvenience. If there is a pattern of cancellation of shifts, then your account might get blocked. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy in case a need to cancel the shift does arise.
  • How do I get paid?
    Job Posters are solely responsible to compensate you for any and all work performed. Further, the Job Poster is responsible for paying any applicable taxes, State, Federal, and Local, for you. Kolligate is not responsible in any way to pay you for any work performed as a result of connecting with a Job Poster by using the Services. The sole and only responsibility of Kolligate is to make the connection between you and Job Poster. Please carry the required set of supporting documents for Dental Offices to pay you.
  • Are taxes withheld from my earnings?
    Job Posters/Dental Offices pay you directly, as per their pay cycle. You can ask the Dental Office for any additional information you need. Please carry the required set of supporting documents for Dental Offices to pay you.
  • Why am I supposed to fill details in my profile?
    Kolligate recommends that you complete your profile with all details which increases your chances of showing up as a suitable match to Job Posters and receive offers from them.
  • Can I be offered a permanent position by a Dental Office that I worked with on kolligate?
    Yes, kolligate provides an option for permanent hiring. You can be hired for part-time/full-time employment by a Job Poster with whom you have worked in the last 12 months. When you get an employment offer from a Dental Office, you can notify kolligate to earn a $100 reward.
  • Can I negotiate terms for the shift?
    We value the time of all our users and understand the need for negotiations as well. Kolligate allows you to negotiate shift details like shift rate and shift timings with Job Posters.
  • Can I communicate with multiple Dental offices at a given point of time?
    Kolligate allows users to find the perfect match to suit their needs. Job Seekers who are Expressing Interest to shifts can negotiate with a maximum of 2 Job Posters at a given time for a given day. You can, however, receive offers from multiple Job Posters at the same time.
  • How far can I look up shifts to work?
    You can look for shifts for up to a 100 miles radius from your saved address. You can change filters to view available shift opportunities for the set distance criteria and increase the chances of receiving an active job offer.
  • How much time do I have to wait for the Job Poster to respond to my offer?
    We value the time of all users, so we have assigned times for expiration of offers. Offer expiration times: 1. 30 minutes for a shift 48 hours and under 2. 24 hours for a shift beyond 48 hours This is consistent for both Job Posters and Job Seekers.
  • What if the dental office has cancelled?
    We value the time of every user and encourage users to avoid last minute cancellations. We have a strict policy to minimize cancellations but in rare cases where the Dental Office cancels a shift, you will be set as available in the marketplace and able to Express Interest to other shifts and receive offers from other Job Posters.
  • Will I be able to see the dental office's profile before grabbing a shift?
    Kolligate is the only marketplace which is transparent, easy to use, quick and allow the Job Seekers to make educated decisions. You can view the profile of all dental offices before you finalize a shift.
  • What happens after a mutual acceptance is reached with a Dental office?
    Once mutual acceptance is reached, you can view contact details of the Dental Office on the Closed Shift Card in Shift Activity or Calendar. You will get a reminder with shift details before the shift.
  • What happens when my availability is not set?
    Can I express interest when I am set as Unavailable? If your availability is not set, Job Posters won't be able to find your profile in the marketplace and you won't be able to receive offers for shifts. We encourage all Job Seekers to set their availability in order to increase their chances of getting a shift and earn more. You will, however, be able to Express Interest to a shift you are interested in.
  • How can I refer other professionals to join kolligate?
    Does kolligate have a Referral Program? Kolligate has a referral program which is easy to use. You can invite other professionals to join the community on the click of a button. Check Referral program details here.
  • Do I need Background check to join kolligate?
    Why do I have to pay for background check? Background check is not mandatory to join kolligate. However, kolligate recommends that you complete the background check which will earn you a special badge on your profile. It increases your chances of showing up at the top of Job Posters’ searches and receive offers from them. You get additional rewards and earn more after background check is done.
